Vehicle parked in disabled bay
Reported in the Abandoned Vehicles category anonymously at 09:11, Wed 11 October 2017
Sent to Stevenage Borough Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1123798.
This vehicle hasn't moved for over a month. Disabled bay has recently been allocated. Owner of car has clearly seen the road markings but has made no attempt to move the car. Very selfish and unfair on those who genuinely need the use of this bay.

Now over 9 weeks since this car has moved. Nobody has made an attempt to move this vehicle. Very, very unfair on disabled people who unfortunately need the use of a bay.

Now over 10 weeks since car last moved. Been told that owner is nearby but haven't seen anyone near this vehicle. Bays have been empty so car could have been jump started😊. Idea, maybe push the car out of bay to get it started😁😁. Very bad for those disabled and in particular the disabled community 😢 Shame on the owner of the car😢😢

"Anonymous" people that posted this KNEW that the car was not abandoned and that the owner of this vehicle DOES have a disabled badge who is unable to move it as the "anonymous" owner of the car next to it never moves that car (possibly abandoned) for the car to be jump started. Can't do it during the day due to being at work. Idea - get a job you sad individuals. Very bad that the disabled working community has to tolerate the none disabled, none working sad idiots posting rubbish on here. Shame on you wasting council time!

If the badge was displayed then this may not have occurred - to use the benefits of the bay you should display a valid blue badge. Without it I would not know if the vehicle was entitled to remain there. Cables to jump a vehicle are long and designed to reach when a vehicle is placed bumper to bumper.

It's an advisory bay only, no one needs to have a blue badge to be able to park there which the HCC website terms and conditions state. We don't need to run this by "anonymous" time wasters anyway. Maybe as you know so much about starting cars you should join the working community and get a voluntary job sorting out all these abandoned cars on this website with your "long" jump leads and stop making fake reports of abandoned cars that you know aren't!
