The car has been moved by owner yesterday at 17:00 ish. I am very surprised that the enforcement team done nothing and the driver is still driving without valid MOT (since Feb 2017) and without tax (since 1 of October 2017).

The vehicle has been moved. The council can only remove the vehicle if it is abandoned, any Tax or MOT issues with the vehicle can only be enforced with either the DVLA or the Constabulary

The issue has been fixed not by Stevenage Borough council as car been moved by owner of the car and probably still driving in Stevenage without tax or MOT and this particular case shows that no one is bothered. As much easier to tick a box as completed instead of act straight way!

The powers that Stevenage Borough Council have to remove vehicles can only be exercised if a vehicle is abandoned. This vehicle is not abandoned. Any further offences such as no tax or MOT will have to be dealt with by the DVLA or the constabulary
