The trees/bushes along the eastern edge of Brick Kiln Road are overhanging the road and cause damage to cars using the road as there is insufficient space between them and cars, particularly the large vans that park along the road. It is not unusual to see a vehicle with a broken wing mirror. The recent snow made the overhang even greater. This has I believe also been reported by others in the street.

Nothing has been done since the matter was initially reported. In mid march the trees hedges on Brick Kiln Road south were trimmed back, but nothing was done to the bushes overhanging the road on Brick Kiln Road north. Following damage to a vehicle one of the residents has "cut back" the overhang as best he could last week. With the growing season now upon us they need cutting well back soon.

Nothing has been done about this. These trees/bushes have still not been cut back. A number of residents of Brick Kiln Road report scratches to their vehicles. We can no longer cut back the foliage ourselves. You have a liability under the highways act to deal with this matter so can we please have some action of it.
