Dead Tree adjacent Edmonds Drive allotement

Reported in the Trees and Woodland Maintenance category anonymously at 14:46, Thursday 13 September 2018

Sent to Stevenage Borough Council 3 minutes later

I reported the problem with this dead tree a while ago but nothing was done at the time because the council had not fully re-adopted the land on completion of the new housing. Now this issue has been resolved perhaps the tree can now be removed. It was a nice specimen until Hill’s contractor dug it out of the ground and tried to replant it. It is now leaning even more precariously and is resting on the allotment fence. As I said before, kids use it for climbing and the dead branches pose a potential safety issue.
