Assorted rubbish rotting behind the recycling bins
Reported in the Fly Tipping category anonymously at 16:24, Wed 19 September 2018
Sent to Stevenage Borough Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1417225.
A couple of bags of mixed waste have been lying and rotting for several weeks. More bags and assorted rubbish have been added since. This will attract rats and encourage more tipping. In addition broken glass and bottle tops are littering the ground around and under the recycling bins.

Garbage continues to be left near the recycling bins and Oxfam book-bank. And the ground around and under the bins is littered with broken glass, bottle tops etc., which are never cleared up. The general mess seems to attract ever more mess.

Photos today (19th October). The whole area around and under the bins needs a proper cleanup. Just removing the big items is not enough if the are is left messy with litter, broken glass, bottle tops etc. It just attracts more litter. Also, perhaps you could install a general litter bin alongside
