Parked car not moved for over 6 months

Reported in the Abandoned Vehicles category anonymously at 12:36, Monday 19 August 2019

Sent to Stevenage Borough Council 4 minutes later

This is a neighbours car that has been parked on the public road and not moved for over 6 months. There are two other vehicles in the household and this is taking up precious parking space in our street.

  • Hello, thank you for providing an update. I can confirm (and a neighbour can verify this) that the vehicle is not in regular use and hadn’t been moved at all for just over six months until last night and so the keeper is not telling you the truth. It was started up and driven down the road and back late last night then re-parked outside the house again on the public road. This vehicle is using up a precious parking space on a public road and causing a hindrance to all neighbours.

  • The vehicle in question is still unused and still parked in the same space outside our properties taking up a precious space. As previously advised the household that own this car have two other vehicles that are in constant use but the reported vehicle hasn’t been used in nearly 8 months now. It is parked on a public road and causing a hindrance to all the neighbours.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • The vehicle has been claimed by the registered keeper and therefore not considered to be abandoned.
